Holiday Lights 2018

Hey, are you looking for something fun to do with the family? I don’t know about you, but I have always enjoyed driving around and looking at Christmas lights before Christmas. For me, there is just something magical in all the colorful lights. Just for a brief moment, all of my worries and struggles dissipate for a brief moment. It’s just beautiful. I have always loved doing the Christmas light drive, ever since I was a teenager and hanging with my friends. So, when my husband and I started having children, 19 years ago, this has been one of the Christmastime traditions we have kept. We have even taken it a step further and added reindeer antlers and a red nose to our vehicle. Yes, I am THAT person! Although, I must admit that my family has stated that we are no longer able to do that because it’s now an embarrassment. LOL! So, this year we do not have antlers and a red nose. These traditions are so fun to pass on to the kids and most of all, it’s making the memories and just enjoying the moment, from the bickering, to the spilling the hot chocolate, to having to go “potty,” to someone being upset because so and so’s head is in the way. THESE are THE moments.

I have taken the liberty to finding some resources to get you some of the best addresses out there to go and check out the magical Christmas lights. Plus a couple of other free activities that are being offered up for you and your family to enjoy. Enjoy the moment and make some magical memories……. Merry Christmas!
